Download/Installation Instructions for eSkyGuide for Pocket PC
Ensure that you have installed ActiveSync on your PC.
Select either the 2000/02/03 or the Mobile 5.0 operating system depending on your Pocket PC; then wait for the download dialog box to load.
Select "Run from Current Location" option.
Wait for the SkyGuide Pocket PC file to download.
Follow the screen-prompted software installation instructions.
If your Pocket PC is in its cradle, eSkyGuide for Pocket PC will be installed directly to your Pocket PC.
If your Pocket PC is not in its cradle, eSkyGuide for Pocket PC will be installed with your next ActiveSync.
Updates currently require a download and reinstallation of eSkyGuide for Pocket PC. Updates are provided on a weekly basis.
eSkyGuide for Pocket PC is now installed on your Pocket PC and a program icon is in the Programs folder of your Pocket PC. Please tap the eSkyGuide program icon on your Pocket PC to launch eSkyGuide for Pocket PC.
If you are wirelessly downloading directly to your Pocket PC running 2000/02/03, Windows Mobile 5.0 or if you have network issues with executable applications, the eSkyGuide for Pocket PC CAB file is available to manually download.
After you copy or download the SkyGuidePocketPCM5.CAB or SkyGuidePocketPC.CAB file to your Pocket PC, you may find it in the Programs/File Explorer/My Device directory and tap the CAB file to complete the unpack/installation process on your Pocket PC.
Compatibility: eSkyGuide Pocket PC has versions that are compatible with Windows Mobile 5.0 or Pocket PC 2000/02/03 PDAs with Intel XScale or comparable processors.
